Mark A. Rosa, OD
Dr. Rosa is a Doctor of Optometry, he graduated from Indiana University with his Doctoral Degree in Optometry in 1986. Before attending Optometry School, he attended the University of California Riverside (UCR) for two years before attending University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He is a Native of Southern California and the Inland Empire, growing up and attending school in the Redlands California. After graduating he felt it important to come and serve the community he grew up in, and began practicing in Moreno Valley in 1988 where he continues to live and serve the community to this day. He also practiced and proudly served the community of Jurupa Valley for over 20 years.
Dr. Rosa has over 30 years of experience as an Optometrist specializing in aspects of vision and eye health. He continues to further his education to stay at the pinnacle of all that is the eye, by reading the most up to date research of vision and eye health and attending educational seminars several optometric associations. Dr. Rosa is up to date and certified to treat several ocular diseases including glaucoma, treats infections such as conjunctivitis (Pink Eye). Dr. Rosa is experienced and adept at fitting contact lenses and specialty contacts for advanced vision loss and scleral lenses for Keratoconus.
Dr. Rosa is married to Deborah Rosa, an enthusiastic and friendly Elementary School Teacher who has been educating our local kids for over 30 years. Both are passionate about education, community, and history and even did civil war reenactments for several decades. Together they have two sons, both of which are eagle scouts, and two cats. Both of his parents were teachers and educators in Redlands, which brought about his passion for education and learning.
